No person shall erect, construct, place or maintain any bumps, fences, gates, chains, bars, pipes, wood or metal horses, chairs, recreational equipment or any other type of stationary structure or object other than a legally parked and properly registered motor vehicle in or on the paved portion any street within the Township, or within any part of the municipal right-of-way, including that area between curbs and sidewalks, nor shall any such equipment overhang the curb or paved portion of any street. For purposes of this chapter, the term "recreational equipment" includes, but is not limited to, basketball standards, soccer goals, hockey goals, baseball bases, or other sports or exercise equipment. The word "street," as used in this article, means any roadway accessible to the public for vehicular traffic, including but not limited to private streets, alleys or access lanes as well as all public streets, highways, alleys or access lanes within the Township, and shall also include any portion of the municipal right-of-way between the curb, the street and a sidewalk.
