There shall be a Superintendent of Wastewater, a Chief Treatment
Plant Operator, a Head Chemist, a Working Foreman, a Senior Clerk
Typist, Head Treatment Plant Operators, Treatment Plant Operators,
Laboratory Technicians, Water Machinery Repairmen, Water/Sewer System
Maintenance Men, Seasonal Laborers.

Each position listed in Section 2-283.1 herein shall be supervised by the Commissioner of Public Services.

(1)
The Superintendent of Wastewater shall be responsible for the proper,
safe operation and maintenance of the City Wastewater Treatment Facilities
in accordance with established local, state and federal laws, ordinances,
rules and regulations governing the supply and treatment of drinking
water.
(2)
Maintains control over the Wastewater Treatment Division budget expenditures
and accounts.
