It shall be unlawful for any person to leave or permit to remain
outside of any dwelling, building or other structure or within any
unoccupied or abandoned building, dwelling or other structure under
his or her control, in a place accessible to children, any abandoned,
unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator or other container which
has an airtight door or lid and a snap lock or other locking device
which may not be released from the inside, without first removing
such door or lid or snap lock or other locking device from such icebox,
refrigerator or container.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall,
upon conviction thereof, be fined in an amount not exceeding $600,
plus costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of such fine
and costs, to imprisonment for a period not exceeding 90 days. Each
day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute
a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
