For the purpose of this Part 3, the following definitions shall
apply:
ACTIVITY
Includes but shall not be limited to basketball, soccer, kickball, hockey, baseball, softball, waffle ball, stickball, skateboarding, roller-blading, bicycle and scooter riding, hopscotch. For the purpose of this Part
3, the City Manager may add additional activities as warranted.
CITY STREET
Includes all public, City-owned streets, roads, avenues,
drives, alleys, culs-de-sac or any City right-of-way or property that
is or could in the City's opinion be used by any legal motorized vehicle.
The following rules and regulations shall apply to any activity taking place in or on a City street as defined in §
303-43 above and for all age groups;
A. No playing before 9:00 a.m., prevailing time, or after 8:30 p.m.,
prevailing time.
B. No permanent or movable recreational apparatus of any type shall
be permitted to be installed or remain on a City street after use.
Any apparatus left may be removed by the City, without notice to the
owner.
C. No foul, abusive or vulgar language shall be permitted at any time.
D. No obstructing the street at any time that would prevent a motor
vehicle from traveling or using the street in a normal manner.
E. No obstructing of any driveway so as to prevent the normal usage
of said driveway.
F. No intentional relieving of any bodily function, which includes but
is not limited to urination, defecation or spitting.
I. No littering or leaving garbage or refuse of any type upon public
and/or private property.
J. No using private property without the consent of the owner. This
would include but not be limited to basketballs or balls of any type
hitting or landing on private property.
Should the City receive verified complaints of continued violation
of the provisions of this Part 3, the City Manager may cite or designate
specific streets or areas of streets as "No Play" areas or zones.
