[The adoption of the provisions of the Civil Service Act
of the State of New Jersey was approved by the voters of the Borough
of Somerdale at the election held November 8, 1960. Pursuant to such
authorization, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Somerdale,
on December 13, 1961, adopted an ordinance creating civil service
classifications for Borough employees in accordance with specifications
established by the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. Such classifications
and regulations are on file in the office of the Borough Clerk.]
