safety, and welfare of public and private property by establishing
restrictions with respect to placing materials on or in the immediate
vicinity of fire hydrants located within the Village of Whitesboro
so as to prevent their location from being discovered; boxing their
immediate access in the event a fire hydrant needs to be used; and
to help insure the proper maintenance of fire hydrants so they will
be operable in the event of an emergency.
The adoption of this chapter is made pursuant to § 10
of the Municipal Home Rule Law and § 10-1002 of the Village
Law.
