The Council of the Borough of Dravosburg hereby prohibits the
burial of human remains or ashes on any private or public property
in the Borough of Dravosburg, except for designated cemeteries in
the Borough of Dravosburg, of which there are two currently designated,
being Richland Cemetery and St. John's German Cemetery a/k/a
Dravosburg Community Archives Cemetery, so as to promote the health,
safety and welfare of the community.
The burial of any and all human remains or ashes in designated
cemeteries in the Borough of Dravosburg must comply with all statutory
and regulatory requirements of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for
such burials.
Any person or persons who violate the provisions of this chapter
shall, upon summary conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $1,000
plus costs.
