This chapter may be known and shall be cited as the "Cranford
Conservation Center Ordinance."
The purposes of this chapter are as follows:
A. To establish rules and regulations for orderly operation of the Conservation
Center.
B. To establish a fee schedule and permit system for the deposit in
the Conservation Center of certain organic garden debris and tree
parts by residents and property owners in order to defray the cost
of operating the Conservation Center.
C. To ensure that this facility is operated in accordance with all applicable
environmental statutes and regulations for the benefit of Cranford
residents.

A. Permit stickers shall be issued on an annual basis.
B. The fee for a permit sticker shall be $85 annually for the first
vehicle owned by each resident and $20 for each additional vehicle.
The fee for each year shall not be prorated and limited to only two
permit stickers per household.

Hours of operation of the Conservation Center shall be fixed
by the Township Committee.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a penalty as provided in Chapter
1, Article
I, of this Code. All complaints shall be heard in the Cranford Municipal Court. In addition, the Township Committee may revoke the permit privileges of any person violating the provisions of this chapter.
