Any motor vehicle operated in violation of this chapter shall be deemed to be a nuisance, and any peace officer may impound any such vehicle. The owner shall pay the reasonable cost of the removal and storage of any such vehicle so impounded before being permitted to regain possession thereof. Such cost and expense shall be in addition to the fine or penalty hereinafter provided for in §
416-3.

For a violation of this chapter, the offender shall be liable to a penalty as provided in Chapter
1, Article
I, of this Code.
