The Village Board shall appoint an Assessor who is certified
by the Department of Revenue under § 73.09, Wis. Stats.
The Assessor shall take and file the official oath. The Assessor shall
make an assessment of all the property of the Village liable to taxation
and shall return the assessment roll to the Clerk/Treasurer in a timely
manner. The Assessor's compensation shall be set by the Village
Board.
