Editor's Note: This local law was originally adopted as Ch. 54 but was renumbered to maintain the organizational structure of the Code. Section 1 of this local law indicated that the Town Board, at its 1-12-2016 organizational meeting, abolished the positions of Town Attorney and Deputy Town Attorney.
In all instances in which the Code, laws, rules, regulations and/or ordinances of the Town refer to actions to be taken by the Town Attorney and/or Deputy Town Attorney, the same are hereby amended and superseded to provide that the attorney or law firm retained by the Town to provide general legal services shall act in place of a Town Attorney or Deputy Town Attorney.
