affecting sidewalks, streets, roads and highways in the Town of Geneva
to protect and enhance the quality of life and safety of street traffic,
pedestrians and property owners.
No person shall plow or move snow or ice or other materials
onto a sidewalk, street, road or public highway (or private road or

so as to interfere with the safety and convenience of travel or to
obstruct the sight of persons traveling. Likewise, no person shall
plant trees or other vegetation that obstructs roads or sidewalks
or does damage to them, and persons shall keep trees and vegetation
trimmed so as not to interfere with passersby on the sidewalk or roadway.
The owner or occupant of lands fronting or abutting on any street,
road or public highway in the Town of Geneva with sidewalks adjoining
said lands shall keep the sidewalks free from obstruction, including
snow and ice. Removal of snow, ice and other obstructions shall be
accomplished as soon as practicable under the circumstances, and,
in any event, no later than 48 hours after the event leading to the
condition.
