No person or persons, firm, partnership, or corporation shall move or cause to be moved, from any place within the Township to another place therein, or place beyond the limits thereof, or from any place beyond the limits to any place within the Township any household goods in bulk, without first securing from the Township of Plainfield a permit for such moving transportation.

Any person or persons, firm, partnership, or corporation desiring a permit or permits under §§ 13-501 and 13-502 for the transportation of household goods, mobile home and/or house trailer in the manner above described, shall make application to the Tax Collector of the Township setting forth the names of the owners or reputed owners of the property to be moved, the addresses and the location from which the property is to be removed and the new address or location to which the property is to be delivered. The Board of Supervisors of the Township shall devise and adopt an application form that shall be used by the Tax Collector.

The Tax Collector shall, upon application being made as provided for in § 13-502 of this Part, issue a permit, for which a charge of $2 which shall be for the use of the Township, shall be made, setting forth the name of the permittee, as well as the name or names of the owners of the goods to be moved and the address from which the goods are to be moved and the address to which the goods are to be moved and the address to which the goods are to be delivered.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this Part, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before a district justice in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues or each section of this Part which shall be found to have been violated shall constitute a separate offense.
