For the purpose of this Article, the term "discarded
or derelict machine, apparatus, equipment or vehicle" shall
be defined as follows: any machine, apparatus, equipment or vehicle
which has been dismantled or which is in such state of disrepair that
it cannot currently be used for the purpose for which it was designed
and shall further include any vehicle which cannot be driven under
its own power and any vehicle which is not currently licensed for
operation on streets and highways; provided however, that any vehicle
with a current and valid historic license plate shall not be deemed
a discarded or derelict vehicle.

Outside storage on any property (except as specifically authorized
by special use permit) of any discarded or derelict machine, apparatus,
equipment or vehicle is hereby prohibited.

The provisions of Section
215.1250 hereof shall not apply to any machine, apparatus, equipment or vehicle if the same is being repaired in compliance with Chapter
215, Article
XIX, of the Municipal Code.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this Article shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall
be subject to such fines as are provided for violation of a provision
of the Olivette Municipal Code.
