A. 
Permit. No person shall move any building, dwelling, house, barn, shed or any outbuilding of any nature or description over any street of the City on rollers, pegs, wheels, sledges or other apparatus without first obtaining a permit from the Building Official. No permit for the moving of a building shall be granted if the building, in the proposed new location, would seriously increase the fire hazards of the surrounding buildings.
B. 
Bond. Before any permit shall be issued under this Section the applicant shall furnish a good and sufficient bond with a corporate surety company as surety, in the sum of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00), conditioned that the applicant will promptly and fully pay the owner of any public or private property, or any person injured, for any injury sustained in the process of moving such building.
C. 
Hours Of Moving Limited. No building, dwelling house, barn, shed or any outbuilding shall be allowed to stand in the streets of the City for a longer period than six (6) hours, and in no event during the period between sunset and sunrise.
D. 
Injury To Pavement. No pavement nor any part thereof shall be taken up or removed to assist in any way the moving of any building, dwelling house, barn, shed or other outbuilding, nor shall pegs, stakes or poles be driven into paved streets for such purposes.

A. 
No person shall cause, permit or undertake the demolition of any building or structure located in the City limits of Osage Beach without a permit issued by the Building Official under this Chapter which permit, and work there under, shall be completed in accordance with all City of Osage Beach ordinances and demolition specifications, including the requirements of this Section.
B. 
To receive a demolition permit, the applicant shall submit an application containing:
1. 
Completed demolition permit application.
2. 
Plot plan showing location of structure to be demolished.
3. 
Pictures of structure to be demolished, consisting of at least one (1) picture of each side of structure.
4. 
Copy of asbestos Inspection report, as required by Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
5. 
Copy of asbestos abatement procedures/delivery tickets, as required by Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
6. 
A bond, in the amount of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) payable to the City, to ensure the successful and full completion of all the permitted work.
C. 
The fee for demolition permit shall be:
1. 
Single-family residential and accessory structures: Fifty dollars ($50.00).
2. 
Commercial: Seventy-five dollars ($75.00).
D. 
All permits are valid for forty-five (45) days after issuance. A permit may be renewed for an additional forty-five (45) days, at the discretion of the Building Official, for good cause. A permit may be renewed only once.
E. 
In performing the demolition under the permit, the applicant shall:
1. 
Establish all necessary erosion control before any utilities are removed or any work commences on the job site.
2. 
Cause all utility connections to be removed from the structure and lot back to the point of connection with the utility main or trunk line.
3. 
Cause all water lines to be disconnected at the point of service and capped as approved by the Osage Beach Water Department.
4. 
Cause all sewer lines to be disconnected at the point of service and capped as approved by the Osage Beach Sewer Department.
5. 
Complete removal of all structural and non-structural components, including footings, foundations, and slabs.
6. 
Cause all excavated areas to be backfilled, graded to the extent possible and seeded with appropriate vegetation to prevent erosion.
