A certain document, one (1) digital copy of which is on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Marshall, being marked and designated as the International Existing Building Code, 2015 edition, including Appendix Chapter B and Resource A (see International Existing Building Code Section 101.6, 2015 edition), as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Existing Building Code of the City of Marshall, Missouri, for regulating and governing the repair, alteration, change of occupancy, addition and relocation of existing buildings, including historic buildings, as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Existing Building Code on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Marshall, Missouri, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Section
500.550.

A. The Existing Building Code is amended and changed in the following
respects:
1.
Section 101.1: Insert: The City of Marshall, Missouri.
2.
Section 140.1.2: Insert: January 1, 2000.
3.
Section 112.1. Insert: Revised to read:
112.1 General. Appeals of orders, decisions or
determinations made by the Building Official relative to the application
and interpretation of this Code shall be heard by the City of Marshall
Board of Appeals, as established, adopted and amended from time to
time by the City of Marshall, Missouri. The Board of Appeals shall
follow the practices and procedures followed by the Board of Code
Enforcement.

Section 112.3. Insert: Revised to read:
112.3 Membership, Qualifications And Procedures. The Board of Appeals shall consist of not less than four (4) members
who are qualified by experience and training to pass on matters pertaining
to building construction, fire protection or other areas of construction,
property maintenance or building trades. Officers and/or employees
of the City of Marshall, Missouri, may serve as members of the Board
of Appeals. The Board of Appeals shall follow the practices and procedures
followed by the Board of Code Enforcement.
