The Borough shall have the following committees under the supervision of the Council President:
A. 
Public Works Committee.
B. 
Finance Committee.
C. 
Facilities Committee.
D. 
Steering Committee.
E. 
Utilities Committee.
Each committee shall be headed by a Chairperson appointed by the Council President, with the exception of the Finance Committee, which the Council President shall chair.[1]

The Public Works Committee shall be responsible for the installation, care and maintenance of curbing, sidewalks, storm drains, road surfaces, streetlighting, street signs, highway markings and new paving. The Public Works Committee shall be responsible for the snowplowing and cindering of Borough roadways. The Public Works Committee shall be responsible for the purchase, maintenance, use and improvement of all park property, equipment and sanitary facilities. The Public Works Committee shall further be responsible for the establishment of planned activities for Borough residents within the parks of the Borough.
The Finance Committee shall be responsible for preparation of the Borough budget and pension plans, shall establish salaries for Borough employees and shall approve all bills submitted to the Borough. The Finance Committee shall, further, have duties of assisting other committees with major expansion programs and assisting the Borough Treasurer with revenue sharing, fuel tax and investments.

The Facilities Committee shall be responsible for the care, general internal and external maintenance and expansions of all Borough-owned structures, excluding water pumping stations, including heating, plumbing, electrical and other systems appurtenant thereto. The Facilities Committee shall also serve as the Borough Council's liaison in matters of fire prevention, sewer connections, sanitation and plumbing inspections.[1]

The Steering Committee shall be responsible for the administration of unusual matters presented to the Borough Council and shall serve in an advisory capacity to other established committees and the Borough Council.
