City of Reedsburg, WI Article II Alderpersons

[Adopted as Sec. 1.03 of the former Municipal Codebook]

§ 104-2 Election; terms of office.

There shall be nine Alderpersons. Two Alderpersons shall be elected from each aldermanic district. The ninth Alderperson shall be "at large" and shall be elected by the entire City. Three Alderpersons shall be elected annually for a term of three years, except that one Second District Aldermanic position shall be elected to a two-year term in 2014 to stagger the terms, but thereafter this term will be a three-year term.
