[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Reedsburg 1-13-2003 (Sec. 7.25 of the former Municipal Codebook). Amendments noted where applicable.]
Unless otherwise authorized by law, snowmobiling shall be prohibited in the City of Reedsburg except for:
A. 
On public and private property presently designated for a snowmobile trail located within the City of Reedsburg, tying the state-funded snowmobile trail east of Reedsburg with the 400 Trail which begins in the center of Reedsburg, plus two dead-end spur trails [Subsection A(3) and (10)]. The areas affected are:
(1) 
Starting in the S 1/2 of Sections 12 and 11 in the Town of Reedsburg, T12N, R4E contained within the City of Reedsburg; proceeding west over lands owned by Skinner Transfer Corp. and Lakeside Foods to west side of Veterans Drive.
(2) 
Operating north on Veterans Drive right-of-way along Reedsburg Airport, VFW Hall and Burger King property.
(3) 
Crossing State Highway 23/33 at the intersection of Veterans Drive to provide access to food, fuel and lodging from the businesses along 23/33.
(4) 
Proceeding west along 23/33 to the west side of airport, then south and southwest on a line parallel to the open drainage ditch located on Reedsburg Airport property.
(5) 
Crossing Commercial Avenue at the intersection of the above-referenced drainage ditch.
(6) 
On South Dewey Avenue proceeding south to a point 200 feet south of the railroad crossing and proceeding westerly on private property to a point where the trail crosses Division Street into the City of Reedsburg's Wastewater Treatment Facility.
(7) 
Proceeding west through South Park to a point where Beaver Street and South Pine Street intersect.
(8) 
Proceeding north on South Pine Street to a point where it turns onto private property to South Avenue to the 400 Trail Railhead (Reedsburg Depot).
(9) 
Snowmobile travel on the 400 Trail will be in compliance with an arrangement between the City of Reedsburg and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
(10) 
Proceeding on both sides of King Street traveling in the same direction as vehicular traffic from a connection with the above reference to trail parallel to the open drainage ditch located on the Reedsburg Airport [Subsection A(4)] to a point 100 feet from its intersection with Main Street (State Highway 23/33).
(11) 
Snowmobile operators shall have permission of private property owners to cross the owner's property.
