The Building Inspector, as certified by the Department of Safety and Professional Services, is hereby authorized and directed to administer and enforce all of the provisions of the Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code.[1]

No person shall build or cause to be built any one- or two-family dwelling without first obtaining a state uniform building permit for such dwelling. Such building permit shall be furnished by the City. A copy of such permit issued shall be filed with the City Building Inspection Department. Fees as set forth in the City's current Fees Schedule shall be paid prior to the issuance of a permit.[1]
