The owner of any building within the City of Reedsburg shall
prominently display the street number(s) for each separate business
facility and/or living space in such a manner that it shall be visible
and legible to emergency vehicles from the street. Street numbers
shall be displayed using numerals no less than three inches in height
and shall be affixed to the building in the vicinity of the main entrance.
Residential dwellings may display the street numbers in the vicinity
of the garage door if the main entrance door is not visible from the
street; street numbers displayed in this manner shall be able to be
illuminated. All numbers that are not directly or indirectly illuminated
must be made of a reflective medium so that they can clearly be identified
by use of a flashlight from the adjoining street.
