[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Upper Tulpehocken 5-14-1973 by Ord. No. 1-1973. Amendments noted where applicable.]
A Planning Commission of the Township of Upper Tulpehocken, Berks County, Pennsylvania, is hereby established and created.
[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I)]
Said Planning Commission shall consist of five members, each of whom shall serve for a term of four years and until his successor is appointed and qualified, except that the terms of the members first appointed shall be so fixed that the term of one member shall be for one year, the term for one member shall be for two years, the term of one member shall be for three years, and the term of two members shall be for four years.[1]

The Planning Commission established by this chapter shall have all the powers and shall perform all of the duties as set forth in the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, Act No. 247,[1] approved the 31st day of July 1968, and such other powers and duties as may hereafter be granted it by law.
