The purpose of this article is to prohibit the cultivation,
manufacturing, testing, retail sale, or any other type of licensed
nonmedical marijuana-related business in the Town of Braintree.
As used in this article, the following terms shall the meanings
indicated:
As defined in MGL c. 94G, § 1, a "marijuana cultivator,
independent testing laboratory, marijuana product manufacturer, marijuana
retailer or any other type of licensed marijuana-related business."
A marijuana establishment shall not be permitted in any zoning
district in the Town of Braintree. No building permit, special permit,
variance, site plan or other permit may be issued under the Zoning
Ordinance, and no use of land or structures shall be allowed, for
the purpose of establishing or operating a marijuana establishment
within the Town.
