No person shall place in any right-of-way, street, or sidewalk
in the Township any article which would tend to obstruct the free
passage of pedestrians and vehicles along the right-of-way, street
or sidewalks. The following are examples of items which tend to obstruct
the free passage of pedestrians and vehicles, but such listing is
intended to be typical and by way of example only and shall not be
construed as exclusive, namely, merchandise, signs, showcases, crates
and barrels and other materials or equipment used in connection with
the operation of a trade or business, basketball standards, hockey
nets and other sports equipment.
No basketball standards or other sports equipment shall be placed
on private property in a manner which will encourage or permit the
play of sports activity to take place on the streets or sidewalks
or within the right-of-way.
Playing or loitering in the street is prohibited.
