Firemen shall be eligible for pension upon reaching the age
of 60 years and having served a minimum of 25 years, 15 of which must
be as a permanent man.

Permanent men, on being retired on pension by the Board of Engineers
of the Fire & Rescue Department, shall receive retirement pay
under the Maine State Retirement Plan.
