For the protection of the general public and for the control
of the beachfront of the Borough of Avon-by-the-Sea, in each year
the Board of Commissioners shall designate, by resolution, a date
for the opening of the beachfront to the public on a day between May
20 and June 30, and a date for closing, fixed in said resolution,
between September 1 and September 15. The beachfront shall remain
open designated weekends and holidays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
and daily between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., as per said resolution.
No person shall be admitted upon the beachfront during such
time except upon payment of certain fees and after registration, as
hereinafter provided.

The Board of Commissioners shall designate, by resolution, the
protected waters and beaches where ropes, buoys, beach flags or other
markers, boats and lifeguards are to be provided by the Borough and
at which persons may bathe or swim.
