A. 
Whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the streets, avenues, roadways and lanes of the Borough (or substantial portions thereof), no vehicle shall be parked on the northern side of any street or avenue that runs in an east/west direction. East End and Poole Avenues shall be considered east/west in direction. Said parking prohibition shall remain in effect as long as necessary, in the judgment of the Superintendent of Public Works, for the effective and efficient removal of snow.
Within twenty-four (24) hours after the cessation of significant snow fall, no vehicle shall be parked on the southern side of any street or avenue that runs in an east/west direction.
B. 
Whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the streets, avenues, roadways and lanes of the Borough (or substantial portions thereof, no vehicle shall park on the east side of any street that runs in a north/south direction. Said parking prohibition shall remain in effect as long as necessary, in the judgment of the Superintendent of Public Works, or his designee for the effective and efficient removal of snow.
Within twenty-four (24) hours after the cessation of significant snowfall, no vehicle shall be parked on the west side of any street or avenue that runs in a north/south direction.
C. 
Whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the streets, avenues, roadways and lanes of the Borough (or substantial portions thereof), no vehicle shall park on Rulon Street or Stanton Place. Said parking prohibition shall remain in effect as long as necessary, in the judgment of the Superintendent of Public Works, or his designee, for the effective and efficient removal of snow.
D. 
Any vehicle parked in violation of this section shall be subject to the general penalties provided for in Section 161-4, and in addition, said vehicle shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper regulation of traffic and snow removal and any police officer shall, at the request of the Superintendent of Public Works or his designee, provide for the removal of such vehicle. The owner shall pay the reasonable cost of the removal and storage which may result from such removal, before regaining possession of the vehicle.
