No truck trailer or other trailer, including campers, shall
be parked upon any street or alley in the Township without having
attached thereto means of mechanical transaction constructed or designed
for the purpose of pulling or drawing such trailer.

Bus stops are hereby authorized and created at such locations
as shall be determined, fixed and appropriately marked by the Board
of Supervisors. It shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle,
other than a bus engaged in loading, unloading or awaiting passengers,
in a bus stop at any time.

In order to facilitate movement of traffic and combat the hazards of snow and ice on snow emergency routes named in § 15-307 of this Part, the Road Master in his discretion may declare a snow emergency. Information on a snow emergency shall be given by the Township through radio, newspaper and other available media and information on the termination of the emergency may be given by the same media.

1.
After any snow emergency is declared it shall be unlawful at any
time during the continuance of the emergency for any person:
A.
To park a motor vehicle or to allow that vehicle to remain parked any where on any snow emergency route designated in § 15-307 of this Chapter.
B.
To drive any motor vehicle on any such snow emergency route unless
that vehicle is equipped with snow tires or chains.
C.
To push or shovel snow into the cartway of any such snow emergency
route.

1.
No person shall park a vehicle on the public streets of the Plainfield Township unless that vehicle is currently registered as required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania pursuant to Chapter 13 of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code (75 Pa.C.S.A. § 1301 et seq.), as now in force, or as hereafter amended, enacted or reenacated, unless said vehicle is exempt from such registration pursuant to § 1302 of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code (75 Pa.C.S.A. § 1302), as amended, or unless said vehicle is currently registered in another state as provided for in § 1303 of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code (75 Pa.C.S.A. § 1303).

No person shall park a vehicle on the public streets of Plainfield
Township unless that vehicle shall bear a currently valid inspection
sticker issued pursuant to Chapter 47 of the Pennsylvania Vehicle
Code (75 Pa.C.S.A. § 4701 et seq.) or a currently valid
inspection sticker issued by another state.

1.
Any person violating or the registered owner of a vehicle found to
be in violation of any of the provisions of this Part shall, for each
and every such violation, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to
pay a fine of $50 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment
of such costs, to imprisonment in the county jail for not more than
three days. Anything in the foregoing notwithstanding, any person
violating or the registered owner of a vehicle found to be in violation
of any of the provisions of this Part shall have the right to pay
the sum of $10 for each and every violation, provided that such payment
of $10 is paid within seven days of the time of the violation, and
provided that such payment of $10 is made as specified in the notice
of the violation and without the necessity of the Township seeking
a conviction of such violation.
2.
If any time during a period of snow emergency declared under this
Part a person shall park a motor vehicle or allow a motor vehicle
to remain parked anywhere on a snow emergency route or drive any motor
vehicle on any such snow emergency route unless the vehicle is equipped
with snow tires or chains that person shall be guilty of a violation
of this Part and upon conviction shall be sentenced to pay a fine
of $50 and costs of prosecution, or in default payment of such fine
and costs of prosecution confined to imprisonment for not more than
three days.
3.
In the event any such motor vehicle is parked on a snow emergency
route, the Chief of the Slate Belt Regional Police Department, at
the request of the Township Manager or the Road Foreman in the absence
of the Township Manager, shall be empowered to have such vehicle towed,
and in any prosecution of any person under this act whose vehicle
has been towed during a snow emergency such person, upon conviction
shall, in addition to the funds provided under this Part, be required
to reimburse the Township's General Fund for the actual cost
of said towing.
