A certain document, one (1) digital copy of which is on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Marshall, being marked and designated as the International Energy Conservation Code, 2015 edition, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Energy Conservation Code of the City of Marshall, Missouri, regulating and governing energy-efficient building envelopes and installation of energy-efficient mechanical, lighting and power systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Energy Conservation Code on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Marshall, Missouri, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Section

A. The following sections are hereby revised as follows:
1.
Sections C101.1 and R101.1. Insert: The City of Marshall, Missouri.
2.
Sections C108.4. and R108.4. Insert: Revised to read:
Failure To Comply. Any person who shall continue
any work after having been served with a stop-work order, except such
work as that person is directed to perform to remove a violation or
unsafe condition, shall be subject to a fine of not less than one
dollar ($1.00) and not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
3.
Sections C109.1 and R109.1. Revised to read:
General. Appeals of orders, decisions or determinations
made by the Building Official relative to the application and interpretation
of this Code shall be heard by the City of Marshall Board of Appeals,
as established, adopted, and amended from time to time by the City
of Marshall, Missouri. The Board of Appeals shall follow the practices
and procedures followed by the Board of Code Enforcement.
4.
Sections C109.3 and R109.3. Revised to read:
Qualifications. The Board of Appeals shall consist
of not less than four (4) members who are qualified by experience
and training to pass on matters pertaining to building construction,
fire protection or other areas of construction, property maintenance
or building trades. Officers and/or employees of the City of Marshall,
Missouri, may serve as members of the Board of Appeals. The Board
of Appeals shall follow the practices and procedures followed by the
Board of Code Enforcement.
