The following departments, boards and commissions have been established in the Borough of Lawnside. Compensation of the various personnel on such boards and commissions shall be set forth from time to time by ordinance and/or resolution adopted by the governing body of the Borough of Lawnside.
A.
Volunteer Ambulance Corps.[1] A Volunteer Ambulance Corps has been created in the Borough of Lawnside, which shall be staffed by a Commander and by as many members as shall be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the ambulance and its duties.
C.
Drug Advisory Committee. A Drug Advisory Committee has been established in the Borough of Lawnside. The Committee shall consist of seven members appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council. The term of each member shall be three years or until a successor is appointed and confirmed, with the exception that the original membership shall be so arranged as to provide that two of the members shall serve for one year, two of the members for two years and three of the members for three years.
D.
Local Assistance Board. A Local Assistance Board has been established in the Borough of Lawnside, consisting of five members, one of whom shall be a woman, appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council. The Local Assistance Board shall select a Chairman and a Secretary and shall appoint a Director of Welfare, who shall be the executive and administrative officer of the Board and shall perform the duties specified in N.J.R.S. Cum. Supp. 44:8-118.
E.
Planning Board. (N.J.S.A. 40:55-1.4) A Planning Board has been established in the Borough of Lawnside. The composition of the Board and the terms of members are as provided in Chapter 26, Planning Board, of the Code of the Borough of Lawnside.
