Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Woodstown, in the County of Salem and State of New Jersey:
The regulation, planting, care and control of shade and ornamental trees and shrubbery upon and in the highways, parks and parkways shall be exercised by and be under the authority of a committee consisting of three residents of the Borough of Woodstown, which committee shall be known as the "Shade Tree Committee of the Borough of Woodstown, New Jersey."
The members of said Committee shall be appointed by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Woodstown, and they shall serve without compensation.
Any and all ordinances necessary or proper for the carrying out of the provisions of this chapter, made, altered, amended or repealed by said Committee, shall be effective only by and with the consent of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Woodstown.
