Any person, whether employer or employee, whose business or
occupation requires the handling of or the coming in contact with
any food or drink intended for human consumption, shall before such
employment and once each year thereafter or upon the request of a
properly appointed health officer, submit himself or herself to a
medical examination by a licensed medical doctor of the State of New
Jersey approved by the board of health, which examination shall include
any test which the board of health may deem proper.
Every person in charge of any place where food or drink for
human use is manufactured, prepared, handled, stored, sold or served
shall require all workmen and employees to be clean and to wear clean
clothing at all times while working in such establishment.
Any person violating any section of this chapter shall upon
conviction thereof, be subject to fine not to exceed $25 or to imprisonment.
