It is deemed necessary and beneficial to the Township of Brady for the peace, safety and welfare of the residents that a maximum speed limit be imposed on all or a portion of the roads indicated herein.
All vehicles, except those restricted by the Motor Vehicle Code[1] to lower maximum speeds, shall be operated in the Township of Brady upon the following roads:

Brady Township Road T-449 aka Hall Road beginning at the intersection of T-449 and State Route 0008 and continuing in an easterly direction a distance of 0.3 mile ± (1,800 feet ±) to the approximate location of the political boundary line between the Township of Brady and the Township of Clay.
Muddy Creek Drive (T-457 and T-840)

Brady Township Road T-457 and T-840 aka Muddy Creek Drive beginning at the intersection of T-457 and State Route 0008, and continuing in a northerly direction a distance of 1.5 miles ± (7,680 feet ±) to the intersection of T-457 (Muddy Creek Drive) and T-840 aka West Liberty Road; thence continuing in a northerly direction and now designated also as T-840 (Muddy Creek Drive) a distance of 0.5 mile ± (2,580 feet ±) to the intersection of T-840 (Muddy Creek Drive) and T-449 aka Staff Road, thence continuing in a northerly direction and now designated as T-457 (Muddy Creek Drive) a distance of 0.8 mile ± (4,450 feet ±) to the intersection of State Route 0008.

Any person violating any provision of this article shall, upon summary conviction thereof before any Magisterial District Judge, in accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code (75 Pa.C.S.A. § 3362), be sentenced to pay a fine of $35 for each violation. Any person exceeding the maximum speed limit by more than five miles per hour shall pay an additional fine of $2 per mile for each mile in excess of five miles per hour over the maximum speed limit.
This article amends or repeals all prior ordinances of Brady Township inconsistent with these provisions and shall become effective five days after enactment by the Board of Supervisors of Brady Township.
