It is deemed necessary and beneficial to the Township of Brady
for the peace, safety and welfare of the residents that a maximum
speed limit be imposed on all or a portion of the roads indicated
herein.
All vehicles, except those restricted by the Motor Vehicle Code[1] to lower maximum speeds, shall be operated in the Township
of Brady upon the following roads:

Provisions, Art. I)]
Any person violating any provision of this article shall, upon
summary conviction thereof before any Magisterial District Judge,
in accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle
Code (75 Pa.C.S.A. § 3362), be sentenced to pay a fine of
$35 for each violation. Any person exceeding the maximum speed limit
by more than five miles per hour shall pay an additional fine of $2
per mile for each mile in excess of five miles per hour over the maximum
speed limit.
This article amends or repeals all prior ordinances of Brady
Township inconsistent with these provisions and shall become effective
five days after enactment by the Board of Supervisors of Brady Township.
