Every operator of a vehicle approaching an intersection at which an official traffic control device is erected in accordance with this chapter shall obey the direction of such official traffic control device as required by the Wisconsin Statutes incorporated by reference in §
432-1 of this chapter. Operators of vehicles approaching a stop sign shall stop before entering a highway as required by § 346.46, Wis. Stats. Operators approaching intersections at which a yield sign has been installed shall yield the right-of-way to other vehicles as required by § 346.18(6), Wis. Stats.
Pursuant to § 349.10, Wis. Stats., the following streets
and parts thereof are declared to be one-way streets and no person
shall operate any vehicle thereon except in the indicated direction:
A. Unnamed street adjacent to Colby High School.
(1) An unnamed City street in the City of Colby bordering the Colby High
School parking lot on the easterly side, and easterly of North Second
Street in the City of Colby requires, in the interest of public safety,
one-way traffic so as to prohibit egress onto Second Street at the
terminus of the unnamed street, with Second Street in the vicinity
of West Dolf Street.
(2) All traffic shall enter the unnamed street bordering along the easterly
edge of the Colby High School parking lot and terminating at an angle
at Second Street north of West Dolf Street and shall proceed only
in a northerly direction. No egress from said unnamed street shall
be permitted at the intersection of the unnamed street with Second
Street in the general vicinity of West Dolf Street, and all traffic
traversing the unnamed street shall proceed only in a northerly direction
to the northerly terminus.
In the interest of public safety and pursuant to § 349.07, Wis. Stats., the following streets or portions thereof are declared be to through highways, and traffic signs or signals giving notice thereof shall be erected in accordance with §
432-3:
A. State Highway 13 as it runs north and south within the corporate
boundaries of the City of Colby and County Trunk "N" as it runs east
and west within the corporate boundaries of the City of Colby.
