The Township Committee shall consist of three (3) members elected
at large for staggered three (3) year terms by a plurality of the
votes cast at the general election. (The general election shall be
held on the next Tuesday after the first Monday in November in each
year.) Each member shall hold office for a term of three (3) years,
commencing at 12:00 noon on January 1 next succeeding his/her election.
Vacancies in the Township Committee shall be filled as provided by
law.

The Township Committee shall exercise all legislative powers
of the Township and such other powers as are invested in the Committee
pursuant to law.

A majority of the entire number of members of the Township Committee
shall constitute a quorum, and no action shall be taken or ordinance
adopted by the Committee without the affirmative vote of a majority
of the quorum of the Committee, unless otherwise provided by law.
If a quorum is not present one-half (1/2) hour after the appointed
time for any meeting, or at any time during the course of a meeting,
the Mayor, Acting Mayor, Presiding Officer, or the Township Clerk
may declare the meeting adjourned.

The vote upon every motion, resolution or ordinance shall, when
requested, be taken by roll call and the yeas and nays shall be entered
on the minutes. The Township Clerk shall record and keep the minutes
of each meeting of the Township Committee.

Matters of procedure not covered in this Code or Statute shall
be governed by the rules and order of business of the Township Committee
as the same have been adopted or modified by resolution.
