Pursuant to the provisions of § 130, Subdivision 17,
of the Town Law of the State of New York, the Town of Hague, to ensure
the safety of the property owners, residents and the public in general
of Putnam Station, hereby regulates the speed of mechanically propelled
boats to five miles per hour in these waters within and bounding said
Town, off Rock Brothers Island, said area being designated as follows:
at the coordinate of latitude 73.462474 north, longitude 43.748750
west, approximately 200 feet off the western point of the area known
as "Royal Anchorage Estates" for one five-mile hour buoy. This area
shall be marked by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation
approved buoys.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall
be guilty of a violation, and any conviction thereof shall he punishable
by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment in the Warren County
Jail for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
