The Board of Trustees of the Village of Woodbury is hereby authorized
in each fiscal year to appropriate and expend such monies for Village
publicity purposes (i.e., public promotion for tourism and local businesses),
including, but not limited to, its economic, cultural, historical,
residential and recreational qualities, as it shall determine to be
in the best interests of the residents of said Village.
The total sum of money appropriated and expended as authorized by §
59-1 shall be established by the Board of Trustees as part of its annual budget.
Nothing herein contained shall be construed so as to remove
or raise any limitation of law on the amount in which said Village
may become indebted or on the amount which may be raised in any one
fiscal year by tax for any or all purposes of such Village, nor shall
it be construed so as to remove any restriction of law related to
the issuance of bonds or other evidence of indebtedness.
