No person, firm or corporation shall perform the massage related activities defined in Ch. 460 of the Wisconsin Statutes without first securing a license therefore.
This chapter shall not apply to duly licensed physicians, surgeons, chiropractors, osteopaths, nurses, and others defined in § 460.03, Wis. Stats.
No person licensed hereunder shall violate the provisions of § 406.02, Wis. Stats.
No person may employ or contract for the services of an individual to provide massage therapy or bodywork therapy who is required to be licensed under § 460.02, Wis. Stats., unless the individual is licensed under that chapter.
Every massage parlor shall be open at all times for inspection by police or other City officials in the performance of their duties.
Licenses described hereunder must be displayed where the customers can observe them on the premises where the massage is being given.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall forfeit not less than $25 nor more than $500 and shall be subject to any other penalties listed in § 1-6 of this Code.
