Borough of Sinking Spring, PA Chapter 42 Salaries and Compensation [1]

Article I Tax Collector

[Adopted 2-20-1969 by Ord. No. 341-A; amended in its entirety 11-24-2021 by Res. No. 2021-09]

§ 42-1 Fees to be paid Tax Collector.

Effective January 1, 2022, the following fees shall be entitled to be charged by the Tax Collector for collecting the following taxes or taking the following action:

A. Real estate taxes: $2 per bill.

B. Tax payment reminder notices: $1 per notice.

C. Letters of correction or clarification: $1 per letter.

Article II Council and Mayor

§ 42-2 Compensation of Council members and Mayor.

Councilmen shall be compensated at the rate of $50 per month, and the Mayor shall be compensated at the rate of $100 per month, commencing January 1, 1990.

§ 42-3 Effective date.

This article shall become effective immediately.
