Notwithstanding any other provision of this Chapter to the contrary,
beginning on October 24, 2022, and running through October 28, 2022,
between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., the following intersections
will have the traffic signals in blinking mode, and when the signals
at these locations are in blinking mode, vehicular movements will
be restricted as detailed below. Said restrictions remain in effect
for said week unless such blinking signalization is suspended at all
or some of the intersections due to unsafe weather conditions or construction
activities.
A. Restrictions:
(1) There shall be no left turns for eastbound and/or westbound vehicles at the intersections listed in Subsection
B(1) through
(6) below, which will be controlled by a blinking yellow signal; only right turns or travel straight through the intersection will be permitted.
(2) There shall be no left turns or travel straight through for northbound and/or southbound vehicles entering the intersections listed in Subsection
B(1) through
(6) below, which will be controlled by a flashing red signal; only right turns will be permitted.
B. Blinking
light intersections.
(1) Canoe
Place Road at County Road 80 (Montauk Highway).
(2) Tuckahoe
Road at its intersection with County Road 39.
(3) Tuckahoe
Road at its intersection with State Route 27A (Montauk Highway).
(4) Magee
Street at its intersection with County Road 39.
(5) St.
Andrews Road at its intersection with State Route 27A (Montauk Highway).
(6) Station
Road (Watermill) at its intersection with State Route 27 (Montauk
Highway).

A. Notwithstanding the provisions of §
312-6.1A(2) to the contrary, left turns shall be permitted to allow for eastbound access on Shrubland Road from County Road 39 between the dates of October 24, 2022, through October 28, 2022.
