The provisions of this article IV shall be applicable to all areas designated as dog parks by the City Council.

(A) 
The hours of operations for dog parks are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, except where otherwise ordered closed by the Director of Parks and Recreation for routine maintenance, inclement weather, emergency, health and safety, or other administrative reason.
(B) 
A person commits an offense if the person enters in or remains in a dog park when the dog park is closed.
(C) 
A person commits an offense if the person brings, leads, directs, provides access for, or allows a dog into a dog park when the dog park is closed.

(A) 
No animals, other than dogs, are allowed within a dog paddock.
(B) 
A person commits an offense if the person brings, leads, directs, provides access for, or allows an animal other than a dog to enter a dog park.

(A) 
Dog paddocks shall have certain size limitations and requirements for large and small dogs. A person shall only provide access for, direct, lead, or allow a dog into a paddock in which the dog meets the minimum or maximum size limitations.
(B) 
A person commits an offense if the person brings, leads, directs, or provides access for a dog to enter a dog paddock in which his dog does not meet the minimum and maximum size limitations for the paddock.

(A) 
No more than three dogs per handler allowed into the dog park at one time.
(B) 
A person commits an offense if the person brings, leads, directs, or provides access for more than three dogs at one time into the dog park. It shall be a defense to prosecution under this subsection that the person was accompanied by a person sixteen years of age or older for every three dogs brought, led, directed, or provided access to the dog park.

(A) 
Dog waste shall be immediately cleaned up, as soon as practicable, and properly disposed of in a designated container.
(B) 
A person commits an offense if the person fails to immediately pick up, as soon as practicable, and properly dispose of the feces of a dog for which they brought, led, directed, provided access to, or allowed into the dog park.

(A) 
A person under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 17 to enter and remain within a paddock.
(B) 
A person commits an offense if the person enters and remains within a dog park paddock and is under the age of 12 when not accompanied by an adult over the age of 17.

(A) 
Each dog entering into or remaining in a dog park shall wear, at all times, current rabies' tags.
(B) 
A person commits an offense if the person brings, leads, directs, or provides access for a dog to enter or allows to remain within, a dog park and the dog is not wearing a current rabies' tag.

(A) 
Dogs brought into a dog park shall not be wounded, sick, or in heat.
(B) 
A person commits an offense if the person intentionally or knowingly brings, leads, directs, or provides access for a dog to enter, or remain, within a dog park and the dog is wounded, sick, or in heat.

(A) 
Handlers shall remain in visual contact with their dogs and maintain verbal control of their dog at all times while the dog is within a dog park.
(B) 
A person commits an offense if the person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly fails to maintain verbal control over, or remain in visual contact with, a dog for which they have charge, care, custody, or control, while the dog is within a dog park.

(A) 
Aggressive dogs shall not enter, or remain within, a dog park.
(B) 
Dog bites, whether of a person or another dog, shall be immediately reported to the Animal Services Department at the telephone number conspicuously posted at the entrance to a dog park.
(C) 
A person commits an offense if the person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly:
(1) 
Brings, leads, directs, or provides access for a dog into a dog park where the dog has been determined to be a dangerous animal under section 22.20;
(2) 
Fails to immediately remove, as soon as practicable, an aggressive dog for which they have charge, care, custody, or control, from a dog park; or
(3) 
Fails to immediately report an incident involving their dog biting a person or another dog within a dog park.
