The purpose of this Article 7 is to provide standards for controlling
outdoor lighting and glare to encourage energy conservation, promote
nighttime public safety, and reduce annoyance and inconvenience to
property owners and vehicular traffic. The following standards are
intended to allow reasonable enjoyment of adjacent and nearby property
by their owners and occupants while minimizing light trespass and
skyglow.
