Prior to installing a new driveway to serve one or more structures or parcels of land, the owner, agent or contractor shall obtain a driveway permit from the Town Board or its designee.
The applicant shall notify the Town Board of the specifications for the driveway, including location, grade, type of material, slope, width and length.
A. 
Minimum road surface width: 16 feet.
B. 
Minimum width clearance: 16 feet.
C. 
Minimum height clearance free of trees and wires, etc.: 15 feet.
D. 
Driveways over 150 feet in length shall provide for a segment of road at least 50 feet in length and 20 feet in width of road surface for each 300 feet of driveway length. Any curves or turns in the driveway shall have a minimum inside radius of 40 feet.
E. 
All driveways within the area of the public right-of-way shall slope away from the public road at a minimum slope of 1% and a maximum slope of 5% to prevent erosion onto the public road.
F. 
Driveway should have adequate roadbed of suitable material to support fire and rescue equipment.
G. 
There should be no concrete paving within the Town right-of-way.
H. 
At the end of the driveway a turnaround of at least a forty-foot radius or some other method to allow emergency vehicles to turn around shall be provided as determined by the Town Board.
A. 
An approved driveway permit shall be obtained prior to any building permit being issued.
B. 
The permit shall expire 240 days from the date issued.
A. 
The size and length of culvert will be determined by the Town Board or a Town Board member, with the minimum size being 18 inches in diameter and 32 feet in length, whether for a home driveway or field access. The Town Board member will determine if a culvert is needed or if a smaller diameter may be appropriate.

B. 
All culverts will be of corrugated steel construction or dual wall plastic. Apron end walls will be of corrugated steel construction only. All new culverts placed in the Town right-of-way must have apron end walls installed. There shall be no straight up and down walls permitted.
C. 
All culverts must be approved by a Town Board member before installation.
D. 
No culvert or bridge shall be installed on a navigational waterway without a permit from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
E. 
All culverts installed for the purpose of accessing new homes or any other personal property shall be installed at the property owner's expense.
F. 
All culverts that are replacing an existing culvert shall be installed at the property owner's expense.
Fees shall be set by resolution.
Any person violating any of the provisions of the article shall, upon conviction, be subject to a forfeiture of not less than $25 nor more than $1,000. Each day is considered a separate violation.
