As used in this chapter, unless the context clearly requires
otherwise, the following terms shall be defined as:
DWELLING UNIT
A building or entirely self-contained portion thereof containing
complete independent living facilities for a single family, including
permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking and sanitation.
SHORT-TERM RENTAL
A dwelling unit or room within a dwelling unit with its own
access and egress that is separately made available to the public
for short-term lodging accommodations and is not in a hotel or motel
that has a manager on the property for at least eight hours a day
on such days as it has rooms that are rented or available for rent.
