(Ord. 1963 § 1, 1986)
Each applicant for an ice cream permit shall have his fingerprints taken. The police chief shall also take two photographs of the applicant of a size that may be easily attached to the vendor’s permit. One of such photographs shall be attached to the permit when issued, and shall be carried at all times when operating as a vendor within the city. Such photograph shall be attached to the permit so that it cannot be removed and another photograph substituted without detection. The other photograph shall be filed with the application. (Ord. 1963 § 1, 1986; Ord. 2369 § 2, 1990; Ord. 5800 § 22, 2017)
In those instances where there will be a delay in issuance of a vendor’s permit because of the time necessary to process an application, the police chief may, in the exercise of sound and reasonable discretion, issue a temporary vendor’s permit. A temporary permit may be issued when, in the judgment of the police chief, the applicant is likely to receive a permanent permit. A temporary vendor’s permit shall be in a form prescribed by the police chief and shall be surrendered to the police chief upon issuance of the permanent permit. The temporary permit may be revoked in the same manner and for the same reasons as specified in Section 10.65.090.
(Ord. 1963 § 1, 1986)

(Ord. 1963 § 1, 1986)
Every vendor’s vehicle shall be plainly labeled with painted letters of sufficient size to be readily discernible at a distance of 200 feet with a designation of the owner or trade name under which such owner is operating such vehicle.
