Any person who erects, constructs, alters, repairs, converts, maintains, or uses any building, structure or land in violation of this chapter shall be subject to the penalties provided in Chapter 1, Article I, General Penalty. After notified of violation, each day of continuance thereof may, in the discretion of the court, be treated as a separate and distinctive violation hereof.
