Streets and sidewalks — See Cb. 184.
No person or persons shall, except upon written permit issued by the village,[1] erect telegraph, telephone or electric light poles or string wires in, over or upon the streets or public grounds of this village or upon, over or in front of any building or buildings within said village.
Editor's Note: By resolution adopted 12-8-1969, the Board of Trustees established a nonreturnable fee of $5 for a permit issued pursuant to this chapter.
Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not less than $5 nor more than $50 for each offense and shall, in addition thereto, be declared to be and be prosecuted as a disorderly person.
