During the period from May 15 through September
15 in each year, no person shall park or stand any motor vehicle in
or upon said Dune Beach parking area unless there shall be displayed
on said motor vehicle a valid permit issued pursuant to the following
provisions:
A. A parking permit for said Dune Beach parking area
shall be issued by the Village Clerk only to a permanent resident
or taxpayer of the Village of Southampton.
B. A separate parking permit shall be obtained for each
motor vehicle so parked, and no permit shall be displayed upon or
used for any motor vehicle other than the one for which it was issued.
C. The fee for a parking permit for said Dune Beach parking
area shall be such amount as may be established from time to time
by resolution of the Village Board of Trustees.
D. No parking in or upon the parking areas described in §
86-17, from 2:00 a.m. through 4:00 a.m., year-round.

A. Any person who violates this article or fails to comply with any of its requirements shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties provided in Article
II of Chapter
1 of the Code of the Village of Southampton.
C. In addition thereto, the Village police may cause any vehicle which
is parked in violation of this article to be removed to a suitable
place, and the expenses of such removal (the cost of such removal
may be fixed by resolution of the Board of Trustees from time to time),
together with reasonable charges for storage, shall be paid by the
owner or operator of such vehicle.
