A Borough Administrator shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council. The Borough Administrator shall hold office at the pleasure of the Council. The Borough Administrator may but need not be a person who is also employed by the Borough in another capacity.
The Borough Administrator shall serve as chief agent of the governing body in the administration of municipal affairs and in the integration and coordination of activities of the various offices of the Borough. The Borough Administrator shall be responsible for the coordination of personnel and financial administration and general oversight of Borough operations.
The salary of the Borough Administrator shall be as sat forth in the annual Salary Resolution.[1]
