A Division of Natural Resources is hereby established in the City of Haverhill.
The Mayor shall, through his office, have control and management of the Division of Natural Resources, which Division shall be under the immediate supervision and direction of the Director of Natural Resources.[1]

The Director of Natural Resources shall be responsible for the care and maintenance of all parks and playgrounds in the City of Haverhill.
The Division of Natural Resources shall be responsible for the conservation and preservation of all of the trees of the City of Haverhill, and the Director of Natural Resources shall be designated as Tree Warden and as Tree Warden shall perform all of the duties incumbent upon that office.
The Director of Natural Resources shall oversee and supervise the recycling program in the City of Haverhill, except the curbside pickup of recycled items which shall remain under the control of the Board of Health.
